Helloo.Club is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). This Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights in relation to it.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of personal information:

Identity and contact data: name, email address, date of birth, profile details
Conversation data: messages, preferences, topics discussed, AI and human agent interaction records
Interest and community data: interest categories, groups joined, connections made
Payment data: billing address and transaction records (full card details are held by our payment processor only)
Technical data: IP address, device type, browser, operating system, session data
Usage data: features accessed, session duration, handover requests, report activity
Cookie and tracking data: as described in Document 7

2. How We Use Your Information

to create and manage your account and provide the Platform's services
to personalise AI conversation quality and maintain conversation continuity
to match users with shared interests and suggest connections
to facilitate transitions between AI and human agents
to process payments and manage subscriptions
to detect, investigate, and prevent fraud, abuse, and policy violations
to send service-related notifications and respond to support requests
to comply with legal and regulatory obligations under Australian law

3. Disclosure of Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it with:

cloud infrastructure and hosting providers operating under data processing agreements
third-party payment processors subject to their own privacy policies
law enforcement, regulators, or courts when required by Australian law
acquirers or successors in the event of a business merger, sale, or restructuring

4. Overseas Disclosure

Some of our service providers are located outside Australia. Where personal information is disclosed overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

5. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Conversation data is retained for up to 24 months for quality, safety, and compliance purposes. Payment records are retained for 7 years as required by Australian taxation law.

6. Your Rights

Under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to complain about a privacy breach. Contact: privacy@helloo.club. Unresolved complaints may be directed to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at www.oaic.gov.au.

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organisational security measures including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage at rest, access controls, and periodic security reviews. See Document 9 for full data handling and security details.

8. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 16. If we discover such a collection has occurred, we will delete the data and notify the user's guardian where possible.
